Studio Megaton is born out of the award-winning model-making company 10 Tons.

10 Tons has just celebrated its 25th anniversary. All the knowledge about materials, techniques and alchemy that have piled up through the 25 years has reached a tipping point. This information overload spills over and crystallises in sculptures that float between art and science. In Studio Megaton we take a break from strict scientific perfectionism in 10 Tons. We make objects that look like fossils and natural relics shaped by passion and intuition rather than rigorous scientific supervision. A joyful celebration of the organic architecture of Nature.
